I called City Cheverlet on morena blvd,
Richard ran my vin number and said there was no recall campain on my car. They must have done the same fix on my car as yours Rita. He said he just had a vette in for the same thing, was that you? Well he also told me to ck my car when the key is off and parked. I did and I can turn the stearing wheel, so I must not have the CLM installed. What do you think Dave?

That's correct; if you can rotate the steering wheel when the key is removed, then you do NOT have a column lock mechanism enabled. That is great news for both you and Rita. Congrats!

Yup, that's where I went, so I'm pretty sure it was me. Wish they would have run my VIN first, like they did for you. I'm so happy you got good news, too.
