Default In dash Navigator

Thinking of installing an in dash navigation/sound system in the C5. The JVC KD-NX500 is suppose to fit in the stock slot with the addition of a face plate since the JVC is a bit smaller in length and width. Does anybody have experience with the installation of this unit? Apparently the speed sensor wire ( where is that located?) is required as an input to the JVC. It cost about $1000 and I cannot find a local store to see the unit. Mail order seems like the alternative. Just like to figure out what I may be getting into before the purchase. And how do you like it?Thanks

Well, that unit and that company have a good reputation but I have never seen one installed, so I can't give advice on it. Sorry.
