Double din stereo c5
Does anybody have an aftermarket double din stereo installed in their C5? I want a clean, all screen stereo like the Pioneer D3 but they are double din and the C5 is like a 1 3/4 din...as some of you know, that sucks! I dont really want to cut my dash open nor do i want a single din stereo...am I wishing for something that is non-existant? I have a bad feeling that there is no alternative, but I figured I would ask anyways.

Put in your vehicle and it will give you options.I had a quick look and all the compatible stereos they listed seemed to state 'modifcation required'. As such I would give them a ring for some technical advice.
When I did a previous install in a truck I found they had kits to take up aditional space but I suspect the vette won't be as straight forward.
They certainly understand how to take the car apart to get at the stereo as I used there install instructions to get at the back of the stereo for my IPOD install.
