Default Double Din radio in a 70 Vette?

Does anyone know if it's possible to put a Double Din [Din 2] radio in a 70 Vette without butchering the instrument cluster? Appreciate a reply to trent@gonzowrite.com

Thanks,

Trent

I doubt you could even get a single DIN radio and without butchering the center console panel.

Ecklers makes a single din bezel for the 68 - 72 Vette. Researching it, and measuring the space in my 70, I found that a single din radio WITHOUT a CD player will fit nicely. The single din with a CD are too deep to fit. I am going to install a JVC KD-X320BTS that is Sirius and Blue Tooth ready.

Wasn't aware of that kit. Glad you found something that will work for you. I believe with a proper side exhaust that you do not need a radio.
