Default Driver side window, mirror, door locks, memory will not work

I need help, I cannot operate my driver side window, mirror, door locks, memory from the door control switch pack on the drivers side door..I have a 01 Vette, I replaced the Door Control Module on the drivers side I had it programed at the dealer, this didn't fix the problem, I tried another door switch pack for the drivers side, this didn't help..I checked the ground point G201 at the left side kick panel. It looked ok but I didn't take it apart. So farI spent about $400.00 and still can't get the driver window, mirror, power locks or memory to work..I thought I would try this Form before taking my car back to the dealer, they didn't have time to trouble shoot the problem at the time when they programed the Door Control Module because I was a walk in , I didn't have an appointment..They told me that I would have to bring the car back at a later time...Has anyone seen this type of problem???

Thank you
Dave....

I assume that someone checked: a) the actual wires and their plugs to make sure their conductivity is still good, b) the fuses (easy) and breakers (no so easy) in the fuse box are working, c) that the module's plug and connectors are straight and not broken.

Yes I forgot , all of that was checked, fuse 33 and fuse 34 which is for the drivers side door control module, I was rolling down the drivers side window, it went down about one quater inch and just stopped, I even unpluged the connector on the door control module for the power windows thinking there could be a short in the power window regulator or motor...

Thank you
Dave

From my archives.....

"The local Bowtie dealer fixed the electrical problem via replacing/cleaning the electrical connectors at the conduit loom at both doors. Apparently this is not a new problem, the service order had but a couple hours of labor."

personal reccomendation is to replace the entire door harness. eliminates problems later on down the road. it sounds as if you have been into the door already so you could probably do it yourself. Best of luck.

Yeah - good advice. Buy more parts, hopin' that solves the problem. He did wish you luck tho'. Forget a proper diagnosis; But it looks like you are doin' that now.

We need a thread dedicated to 'how many parts got replaced, tryin' to fix a problem, and the problem still ain't fixed'.[sm=roll.gif][sm=smiley36.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif]
