Default EBCM and Headlight Problem

I'm having two problems that started at about the same time and I'm wondering if they're related. About 2 weeks ago a took a sharp turn and shortly thereafter the ABS, TCS, and AHS warning light came on (diagnostic code c1412). Around the same time I noticed my left headlight would sporadically not operate (open), yet the right one did. The headlight makes no noise, just doesn't lift. The headlight works on and off. I've read a number of posts regarding some of the potential causes of the EBCM problem (causing the ABS, etc. warning lights) and one of them was a grounding problem. Is it possible I have a ground problem that is also affecting the headlight? If not, any ideas on the headlight? I have a write up on the suggested corrective action for the EBCM problem, but haven't seen any headlight suggestions when the problem doesn't appear to be a gear issue.

Any help is appreciated.
