exhaust question
i currently have a magnaflow, but i don't like how it makes an annoying drone/resonance at cruising speeds, and am looking for a louder exhaust. i'm looking at the b&b bullet exhaust and was wondering if it has an in-cabin resonance, so if anyone has it please help me out. i am also going to get LT headers and was wondering how much louder it will be. i don't have enough money for both right nowunless i sell my current exhaust for a couple hundred bucks, is this a reasonable asking price for a used exhaust with about 10k miles on it?

RE: exhaust question
B&B and SLP seem to be the loudest exhaust sounds. My buddies charger has SLP (full exhaust) and at highway speeds it is noticable (alot of drone), but WICKED SOUND AT WOT. You should be able to get a few hundred for your old exhaust. Depending on your combination of headers and exhaust will increase the sound. For example slp headers will probably be louder with slp exhaust than w/ magnaflow.

RE: exhaust question
You probably want to go with a flow-through exhaust -- they tend to be nearly resonance free although they can be pretty loud. You can tell flowthrough because the exhaust enters one end of the muffler on each side and leaves the other end of it, unlike the stock and most aftermarket brands in which it goes in and back out the same end of each muffler. I have the GHL flow-through and love it. I think the Borla stinger is one, too. After a while you get to where you can recognize the sound of a car with a flow through on it, even if you can't identify the specific maker.

RE: exhaust question
I've got the SLP loudmouth on my C6.. It is VERY loud when I want it to be. It can almost be quiet when I drive around in a tall gear at slow speeds too (good to not **** off the neighbors). Put in an X-pipe (I have one), I was told be the installer that did my work that the x-pipe knocks down most of the resonance at cruising or highway speeds.
