Default FAST BLINKERS

2001 model----Turn signals are blinking faster than normal and I realized that both front signals are not blinking. Assuming that the bulbs are bad. Parking lights are working but not blinking.

I have heard it is quite tricky to replace the bulbs.

Any tips on doing so?

You have to have small wrist to do it this way. I use to be able to do it this way until I got a Tiger Shark front fascia. That made them next to impossible to change so I got creative and added a whole bunch of wire. Now I can pull that sucker through every hole in the front of the car and then some...

I had same problem on my 2000 vert. The bulbs are the problem. You have to open the hood, turn the headlights on so they flip up, then unplug the light connector towards the front of each wheel well. Then reach between the front of the headlight and the nose of the car. The blinker bulb is located in a housing but it is kind of upside down, and in addition there is a locking tab on the light housing. You have to fiddle wiith the tab while turning the light housing..good luck... hope you have skinny arms too.

Fast - blinking turn signals mean that a light is burnt out. Try replacing you light bulbs and see if it makes an improvement.
