My fuel cover wouldn't open using the button inside the console. What could it be? A fuse possibly?

 

My '03 coupe did that, I checked the connector behind the fuel door switch and found it not seated good. My connector doesn't have a very long lead on it so I think it was just too tight and worked out just enough to prevent the door from opening........ good luck........ 8-)

 

Thanks so much Jerry for the suggestion. I will have to check it out tomorrow at work. I work for a heavy duty trucking company so I can have one of the mechanics check that for me. I have a '99 C5 convertible and just love it! Thank goodness the guys take care of me as I am a 53 year old grandmother that has always wanted a redCorvette!
