I just purchase a 97 and the Owner informed me that occasionally you can hear a high pitched whine originating behind the driver's seat caused by the fuel pump. It happens periodically and apparently it was a re-call item that was addressed years ago.

I'm wondering if any after market pumps are available or if there are any other "trick" to eliminate this little annoyance.
