Default Hard starting after adding fuel

Hey Corvette fans! I recently bought a 2000 c5 corvette. Its a beautiful car but has a few bugs in it. The problem is when I fuel up, the car doesn't want to start after. It will turn over just fine and after about 5 seconds or so it will fire. I'm pretty sure its not the gas cap because I can take it off and on and it will still start fine. I hooked up my scan tool while the car was off and found the rear tank only has .71 volts and the left had 1.31 volts. Is it a vapour lock or does the sender not adjust properly to the added fuel? Is this a common accurance on vette's? Please need help.

O. K. So,.....is it hard starting only when you fill up, or does it happen at other times too? You may want to check your fuel pump pressure.

Hi Starship. It is hard starting only afterI fill up my tank. My car will start just fine from day to day and even if it sits for a couple of months. My fuel pressure is sitting at 60 psi before i start my car. I have even tried leaving my key on to fuel up, but doesn't help. I also should mention that it has a vortec supercharger, exhaust, programming, and bigger injectors but i don't beleive that it has anything to do with my problem. Its really embarrasing being at the pumps with everyone staring at your car and it won't start.

Don't get discouraged, a lot of people are out and about this weekend, so it may take a day or so to get answers from our real sharp techs. I'm pretty good with basics and old school stuff, but the new technology left me layin' in the dust.
