Hello....new to forum
Hello. I am new to the forum and I have a question. I own a 2003 Anniversary Convertible/ automatic with 19k miles. Just clayed and used complete Zaino formula. The question is what's the best cleaner for the top?
Unfortunately I don't have an answer for your question, but I did want to welcome you to the forum...and I'm pretty sure one of the the vert owners will be by soon with the answer you are looking for. Good luck.
Welcome Southchevy
I think you'll find this place interesting and full of knowledge. There are some great people here.
I have used this on my top. It has worked pretty good for me. Not only a cleaner but comes with a protector also. It does need to be done in the shade, and some cool weather.
Enjoy the forum! [sm=bounceybounce.gif]

I've used that RaggTopp product on our '97 Z/28 when we had it... GREAT product. Gonna get some for our Vette soon, too....
Hey, mech, I have read many places on the internet and talked to folks... they say not to use detergents on the fabric tops we have on our Vette's. It prematurely breaks down the fibres, or something like that... I have always used a very soft nylon brush and just sprayed water on the roof to clean it with excellent results so far.
Information on RaggTopp and cleaning
I guess a lot of our specially designed car wash liquids probably don't have detergents in them, in retrospect, but I am not always sure so I play it safe and do not use soap on our roof. Am I out to lunch? Again??

I am told by my friend in the upholstry business that the best cleaner is warm soap and water for converible tops. Welcome to the forums.
