Default hypertech programmer question

hey guys, im in the process of putting a varvaram kit in my 99 frc, the guy whose doing it for me has a friend with a hypertech programmer for a 2001 coupe, his cars auto and mine is a 6spd. the programmer says for automatic only. i know the programmer changes the shift points along with other things. has any one used this paticular programmer in a stick, and if so did you have any problems with it. or should i just go a different route all together. i hope to put an exhaust soon but not sure when, should i just wait untill im done with the exhaust. any direction will be apreciated. thanks guys

Default RE: hypertech programmer question

If you where me and it where I, I would wait until I put the exhaust on and then have it dyno tuned. That way you know that it has been programmed your specific application. You should be able to work out something with the shop so that the first tune is one price (let say $500 for example) and then every tune you get after that as you do other upgrades to your car will be another price (let say $200 for example).
