Installation of fixed headlights from Corvette Mods
I purchased a pair of fixed headlights from Corvette mods. I installed the brackets as instructed. When I placed the headlight in the opening there was a gap around the new headlight. I made the connection to the wiring harness, new light to car light harness, & found 2 connections to the high beam with no place to connect them. I also have a male connection without a place to connect it. I am a first time owner of a 2001 C5. Has anyone else had this problem ? Is there a way to make this work ?

Fixed Headlights
When I purchased the lights I asked about installing them. I was told they would slip in, & all connections were plug in. Since I installed the brackets I found afound 1/4" gap around the light. I contacted the seller Corvette Mods, & sent the photos they requested. They told me I installed them wrong. They then told me that the lights had to be installed by a body shop. If they had said that in the beginning I would not have bought them. I also found that the connection for power to the high beam does not exist on my 2001 car. So both high beams, L&R can't work at all. So far after I told them, about no electrical supply to both high beams I have not heard from them. So I wait.

The latest from Corvette mods
They just told me no return, because the headlights are used. They said they provided instructions & my attempt basically is on me. There was no attempt to resolve the issue except refusing to accept a return. They did not acknowledge that their representative did not tell me that a trained installer was required. They made no attempt to explain their selling hi beam headlights to me which won't work because there is no power supply available for hi beams.
So the lesson is buyer beware !!!
