Default Interior LED light upgrade question...

I am looking into changing out my interior courtesy lights and hood light with LED bulbs.

Since these LEDs have a low draw, I was wondering if the computer still automatically turns off the lights, if there left on for more than 15 min. I seem to have a bad habit of leaving the map light on. LOL!

Thanks!

I know some folks on the Chevrolet forum, Tahoe section that replaced interior lites and didn't mention that there was any problem w/ the auto shut off. Since it's a timed function, I think you'll be OK. Most recommend Superbrightleds.com

Thanks for the feedback. I was planning on purchasing from Superbrightleds, they seem to have the best prices and warranty around and are great to do business with.

I purchased some replacement blue led’s from Superbrightleds, for the dash on my El Camino several years ago, and they still works perfectly. I do recall one of the units not working properly out of the package; one phone call and they immediately sent me a replacement, no questions asked.

You could probably leave interior LEDs on all night without worry, since the current draw from LED lights is very low. We've done that a few times with our Lexus RX400h and it started just fine in the morning.
