my back up light
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a 1999 Corvette Coupe and everything on it works great except for some reason the back up lights do not work. Now I bought the service manual but just havent had the chance to go through it and find out where the problem is so maybe you guys can help me as well..Here is the info when I put it into reverse and backup no lights come on and I hooked up a volt meter to it and it doesnt seem to be getting power at all..Any ideas?

What I've heard is that you have a 2 terminal switch located on the side of the transmission case, passenger side.
If you remove the plug, and jump the 2 together with a paper clip, your lights should come on.
The switch is mostlikely the concern here. I believe the switch is about $15.
