NEED HELP! Conv. window falling off.
Hi all, well my rear window on my 02 Convertible is starting to fall off. The windows adhesive material is slowly unbonding from the window and I was wondering if anyone out there has any tips or ideas as to rebond the window back on. I have tried looking online but have not found anything usefull so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your help and have a great day.

Okay guys, I could not find anything special about any adhesive to glue the window back, all I could find out is that the window is heat bonded at the factory and anything else is going to be trial and error. An interior place told me he was just going to use some black colored sealant or adhesive and charge me $150, well I can do that myself. However I decided to go a step further and here is what I have done:
I decided to do this in two parts, the bottom first then the top so the glass would not shift and be misaligned. I placed a small box underneath the back of the canvas top ( between the toneau and the canvas to release stress from the window seal ). After peeling the bottom part of the window from the canvas top ( that part was already comming loose ) I got my rotory tool with a small disc grinder and made indentions in the glass where the seal would meet; I did this to help the epoxy adhere better to the glass. Next I cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol and used high strength rubber to glass epoxy ( picked some up at pep boys ) and applied it to the glass. Next I placed several weights ( tools, object, ect. ) on top of the canvas right above the seal to apply pressure. The bottom came out great and just finished the top today. Will let you know how it turns out.
