New C5 Seats Shim Dont work on all C5s!!
C5 Shim Kit to prevent seat rocking
http://www.corvettepartsblog.com/new...pair-shim-kit/
These shims do not fit my 2003 C5 Z06, I am the only owner of this car so they are the factory tracks. They are about 1mm too wide and there is no way they will fit correctly even if I try to force them. They will fit inside the block, the end of the block is tapered where they need to seat. The directions are not 100% correct for the 2003 Z06 seat track, this track does not use the small torx in the kit, I had to go buy a torx socket. Was this kit only intended for C5 coupe only, are there different power seat tracks? Somebody did not do their homework 100% before releasing this product.

I have found that the Company that makes the shims has poor customer service, I was told my car is no different than any other vette. Ok, I have pics and measurments so why do they not fit my track? Then I was told to file them down to make them fit or shave them down with a knife, ok my car is the same as all other vette but I am supposed to file down a plug and play kit that I paid $25 for? I asked if they could send me a few extra shims incase I screw one up and I was told to take a hike. Great way to do business, basically if they don't fit shove it up your %^& and it is you problem to deal with!
Thumbs down on this product! If it works it works, if it does not work too bad your problem to deal with!
