Default Newbie and a question about Climate Control

Just picked up my first Corvette this weekend. 2002 Black on Black Coupe w/22K miles. Love the car but, I do have a problem. The passenger climate control *** does not work. I went through the manual and made sure the drivers side is not max'd in either direction but, still nothing. I tried it in maual mode and in auto mode and still nothing.

I did test drive the car a week before and it worked. The place I bought it from did have the Column Lock recall taken care of at a dealer before I picked it up this weekend. Any chance during the recall work something happened? Any ideas on anything I can check?

I bought a used 2001 a few months ago. The climate control module did not work and I insisted the lot owner put in a new one. He did and the display now works, however I thought there was a problem with the passenger side control also, as I saw no indication on the display when turning the ****.

If you carefully read the manual, I think that they have provided (NO DISPLAY) of any kind when twirling that ****...........So I think your (passenger) has to have faith that when they turn it, "something" is really happening to make their side of the car warmer or cooler as desired.............

Thanks for the reply but, it worked the week before I bought it. Even though some of the Climate Control repair people tell me that a new unit will not fix the problem I may try and replace it anyways. Other than that I thought about disconnecting the battery for a while and seeing if that had any affect.

I know a couple of others are having this issue but, no one has responded with any type of fix.
