I just purchased my '99 VETTE in March and the top "rattles" and it seems to be worse on hot days. Can this be adjusted?

 

Every now and then I hear a rattle from what I thought was my top, but it turned out to be my sunvisor. Still haven't figured out how to tighten it, but you might want to make sure that its not the samething.

 

Take it off and lube the gaskets with dielectric grease. Reinstall and check it out. Sometimes the gaskets can get pinched, so make sure the top is seated properly.

 

I had a rattling noise coming from the glass top, front right attachment clasp.
I haven't taken the time to identify the exact cause, but a quick fix is to wedge a small piece of fabric between the metal contacts.
No more rattle.
