Default Oil Press. gage question

My 99 c5 oil press gage indicates 130 psi in digital mode and fll on the analog gage (80 psi). Is this normal or do I have an oil press sending unit thats bad?

Well, you have a problem. I don't think the car can generate 130 pounds of pressure (unless something is so wrong it will blow in a minute or two).

I am not sure it is the sending unit, though.

Try unplugging sending unit, gauge will either go full scale or return to zero, key on engine off. If so, I would suspect sending unit.

I agree. Most likely, it is your sending unit.
