Cool Radiator fan

Does anyone know at what temp the fan should come on? Some times i hear it at 190 dg. and some times at 220 dg. I get worried after 210.

The fans come on at low speed at approximately 225F degrees and switch to high speed at about 235F, assuming the HVAC is off. If the HVAC is on, they run all the time.

The AC is on all the time. But I also hear another fan come on high speed at certain times. I've watched the temp slowly come down with this fan on high from 225F to 200F. Are you saying that 210F plus is still OK?

Yes, if the ambient temperature is up there (70+) and you are in stop & go traffic, you will see temps like that. During Winter months, they will come down a bit but I believe the thermostat is set to maintain 195F, even on the highway.

Yes, that's exactly what it runs on highway runs. Thanks a bunch.
