Removed the front and side air dams from my '01 due to age & wear. Driving at 60+ mph I get a whooshing noise - like an air compressor blast - when I go over bumps, even small ones like expansion joints. Seems to be all on the front drivers side. Could that be external air blowing up into a cavity in the engine compartment ?

 

Welcome to the forum. I'd be more inclined to think that it was something associated with a loose connection and a high volume of air escaping. Not sure what that would be though.
