Ride Control Option

I have the ride control option with my 99. The problem is, how do i know if it is working when i switch it. i really cant feel the difference. Does anyone know if something could be wrong or maybe I am supposed to reset something, Thanks for the replies

As far as I know there is no indicator to let you know when you have changed your settings, but in mine I can actually feel a slight difference when I use it. U just have to pay attention to the way it takes bumps when you have it selected.

I hope I can answer your question for I believe I suffered from the same affliction for quite some time. I posted a few inquiries about the Selective Suspension (F45), but didn't get much of a response.

I have a 2000 C5 with 54,000 and I recently redid the brake pads and rotors because of an irritating vibration through the brake pedal when I applied the brakes. What one has to do with the other, I don't know - but and the work was done, my ride control started to work again. I am beside myself. My car is back!

I never liked the rough ride I got from the 'performance' side of the selective selection switch and that's what I was left with before the rotor and brake pad change.

'99 vert. I can feel a pronounced difference between settings once I switched to non-rf tires. I now use the middle setting for driving around town as opposed to using the softest setting normally when I was running the standard RF's.
