not sure where the filter is on the '92 but on my '87 it is on the frame rail just behind the right front tire. not too hard to get to. not too sure about the rough idle but come to think of it mine does it too sometimes.

Try getting your fuel injectors cleaned. [8D]

I have been having the same issue with the idle. I have used BG44K in the past in other vehicles and really helped. Has anyone tried this product in a Vette?

Fuel tank additives are for maintenance purposes only. Techron is a very mild injector cleaner. If your injectors are really bad, it will not help. The cleaner we use will take paint off cars.

Injectors are cleaned internally by means of a service kit that hooks up to you fuel system and uses a very potent cleaner to help dissolve carbon deposits that build up in the spray nozzle of each injector over time from engine heat cooking the fuel in the nozzle mostly from driving up with the engine hot and shutting off with the fuel having no place to go.
