Service Column Lock?! AHHH!

So almost every time I get in and start the car up, my steering wheel locks. Then the DIC says service column lock. I need to shut my car off and wait 10 seconds to unlock the wheel. Help!?

Take it into your nearest GM dealer to have the recall fix performed.

i had that happen to me too. i got it fixed free but the steering doesnt feel the same as it used to..not bad but just not the same
