ok, so i feel like a total idiot....the last two vehicles i owned (including my first vette) were both standard transmissions....well i bought an automatic 2001 vette the other night, and didn't even think to look at the tranny fluid. so last night when i thought about it, i couldn't find a transmission dip stick. Is there a dip stick for C5 automatic transmissions, and where is it? I feel like such a retard for not thinking about this until now, and even more so for not looking!!! (I need to get a replacement manual from the dealer, by the way.....)

no stick,just the fill/level hole in pan.ya need a lift and ya have to follow a few steps
