Default vibration after pulley/dampener/balancer change

99 base model, stock, with automatic transmission.
Just had dampener changed and now I have a vibration 1700-2000 rpms. Vibration was not there before. Am good friends with the shop and everything looks to be by the book and well done. I feel the problem has to be the replacement part as it was the only thing changed. I did use an offbrand, Dorman from Oreillys. We are going to do it again so what brand(s) do y'all recommend?

Welcome to the forms! Well that sucks, small task that goes to crap. Something is off that's for sure, if that's the only thing that was changed, it has to be the balancer. Dorman is a good name in auto parts, so try another one and see. AC Delco is good (costs a bit more) check Rockauto-Summit Racing, not sure what Amazon has. good luck!
