Hey everyone, does anyone know if the C6 keyless entry remote will work for the C5. The one for my C5 broke and i have found that the ones for the C6 are cheaper than they are for the C5. Thanks for the help [sm=hiya.gif]

 

Have you got the C5 and C6 backwards in your note? Remotes for the 2005-06 are indeed costly. Way cheaper if you need one for 2001-04. Check ebay. If you're stuck, drop me a note. I have an extra pair for the 2001-04 years I could part with. GM/LEAR part# for unit #1 ( used) 25695954 and #2 ( new) 25695955. Enzo

 

I really do mean the keyless for the C6. I have a 99 C5. I found the keyless entry for the C6 on ebay a lot cheaper than the C5 but i went ahead and purchased the one for the C5. Thanks

 

I'd like to know if a 2001 remote will work on a 1997. One has the passive switch[97-99], and one doesn't. The passive option is alot more expensive too!
