Greetings,

I am very new to posting on any forum, guess you can call me a Newbie. I have a 2001 Corvette (base model). The cowl on my car is beginning to deteriorate. There is a section on the passenger side that has split right at the windshield and allows for water to flow in. Can anyone tell me if this component can be rebuilt or do I have to purchase a new one From GM. I have priced it already and the price is $302.00 from GM and I found 1 for $299.00 at a vendor. Also, what are the chances of me finding a used one?
