Default Wiper Arms

I need some help. I've read plenty of post and seen several videos on Youtube but I can not get my wiper arms off. I've tried pry bars and I can't even get a hammer to help get the tip under the wiper arm. I bought the wiper arm puller and it doesn't work. I've sprayed Break Free on the studs and nothing. It is like they are welded on.

Welcome to the forum. Have you tried using heat?

I went to 2 different body shops today and the wiper arms are still stuck on. Not sure what to do now. Slide hammers, more penetrant, heat... and nothing. Both shops said they've not seen wipers that stuck before.

Another option would be to take a Dremel tool with a small cut-off wheel in it and cut a slot parallel to the shaft in the wiper arm mounting. Then maybe you can stick a thin bladed screwdriver into the slot and try to pry it apart. The slot may also allow penetrant to get in where it wasn't getting to before.

Your suggestion looks like the best one yet. After 2 body shops told me they had never seen anything that stuck before, I'm gonna have to pretty much cut them off. Thanks for the idea. I wasn't sure which way to attack cutting them.
