Hey there i am torn between buying a chip or the halltech cold air intake anybody have it and i would like some opinions on it . it would be great if somebody had a dyno run and tell me what kinda power they give. Please help a new z06'er out are they a good intake? I already have b and b Buillits , short throw and a drop in k and n filter please help Sorry for the noob questions. THANKS

 

Again, you don't see a lot of HP addition on a dyno with a CAI because the car is stationary, not moving through the air which really helps them. They do help, but don't expect it to transform the car -- at best a barely notieable difference.

I personally would not have the chip on my car: get it reprogrammed if you want but a chip is just an less-than-best way to do that.

If you want a single mod you can feel, get long tube headers before you have the car re-programmed.
