Hello, Recent owner of a 2006 C6 automatic and notice
that there is a pronounced delay when the tranny shifts from 2nd to 3rd gear. It bogs down for a second before shifting into 3rd and does the same whether its in D or S. Car only has like 37k on it and is very clean and has been serviced correctly etc. Anyone experienced this? I have not checked the fluid yet.

Welcome to the forums. Automatics can be tricky, you might want to talk to a reliable transmission shop in your area. What you are discribing sounds like the 2nd speed valve (I believe the shifting valves are electronic solenoid type) is sticking and interfering with the third gear shift. Two speeds engaged at the same will make it bog down, You could try a transmission service first (maybe upgrading to a synthetic fluid) maybe an additive for sticking valves, and or replacing the 2nd gear solenoid valve. This is just my theory, if this is the case you might want to fix it soon, this could be hard on clutches. Good luck.
