Does anyone know if you can add the HUD if you did not get it stock in your car? If so is therea part number or place that I can find one? Thank you for you help.

 

You can add it if you know what you are doing but beyond the cost of the parts, it is a lot of labor, requiring significatn disassembly of the dashboard and interior, etc.

 

Thanks for the info, I am waiting on the delivery of 07 2LT and the only options I wanted from the 3lt was HUD and dimming rearview, I fould the dimming reaerview but can't find the parts for the HUD (OEM or aftermarket). Any info on where to find them would be grateful.

 

Well you can get the whole kit for 900 dollars and install it yourself...So I really do not think its that bad if you want it......Asab.........

 

I asked the same thing to the service dept at my local dealer and they said they can't do it. If it doesn't already come with it, it doesnt have the harness needed. He said he could sell me the parts but I would have to get a "car stereo" type place to install it if the knew how to...
