Aftermarket Nav
I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere in the forums, but i cant seem to get the search function to work properly (our I.E. at work is from like 2005)
Anyways, my new vette does not have the nav radio, but i love having it in my car now. I was looking at aftermarket systems and have a few questions:
1) if i add on XM to a nav receiver, will it require 2 antennas? (the nav has a sat antenna that sticks on the roof as does the XM)
2)is there a way to preserve door chimes etc...? i found the harness to reuse the steering wheel controls but nothing for doors (i know some models have a seperate external speaker for doors etc..)
3) will i lose the bluetooth functionality if i replace the radio? if the new radio has bluetooth can it plug and play with the existing system?
Thanks!
