Took an 800 mile trip this past weekend and noticed the smell several times. My '13 now has 25,600 miles on it and dealer is still saying he can't duplicate it.

 

I am not using ethanol either. I have a near by station that sells 93 octane w/o ethanol. To me it smells like the cc. I don't smell it all the time.

 

Try changing gas stations.

 

I am not sure what that is going to solve when other folks around the country are having the same problem. I would guess it was mechanical issue. Some of the other folks I have talked with, most are using ethanol but some are not.
