Well, I have a 2007 c6 with the performance package and no other options. I take it to do open track days for one weekend a month to buttonwillow international raceway and willow springs. Since new the car has 5500 miles, 1 weekend solo II, 1 weekend at buttonwillow, and one weekend at willow springs. The brakes started to make niose so I took it to the dealership. First, at 5500 miles the front pads were already worn. Also, the back driver side tire pressure sensor failed (due to heat according to the dealership). So has anyone expireinced a failed tire pressure sensor due to heat??? And, I need an aftermarket brake pad recomendation (i.e. EBC/Hawk). On a good note I didn't even tryt to hid ethe fact that I race on the weekends and the dealership covered the brakes under warrenty (<7500miles).
