i have a 2006 corvette base,and i cant open the door, i opened the trunk pulled the cable and it doesnt quite open the door enough for me to open, the battery is charged dont know how to get in this first began when i tried to use key fob to start while i was inside vehicle. this happened yesterday so i got in glove compartment and started the car that way. Today after getting new battery for fob would not work thats when i opened trunk pulled cable and it unlocked the door and it came open a little but not enough for me to get in some help would be greatly appreciated

 

You have to pull that cable pretty hard sometimes, give it a good yank. Your fob might be bad if the new battery didn't work. Try the other function buttons and see if they work. I've changed batteries in my fob several times and I haven't had to reset anything so I'm not sure if there's a procedure or not. I'll have to look in my owner manual.
