Default Foam Disc Question

Hopefully a simple one. Attached photo shows 1 round foam disc on 2007 coupe. 2 are missing. Is this a part that is actually offered for sale, or should I just replace with self-stick felt or rubber pad? It appears they make contact with corresponding pads under hood as seen top right in photo. Thanks for any help.

Kinda looks like they need better stickum. Whatever you can find to replace them that's about the same consistany should work fine. Maybe Gorilla glue.

Or maybe rubber cushions like you see on doors and hoods with the little **** that you push in a hole to hold them (no glue). Might work Better.

Thomas,
Thank you for your reply. I do think the heat in engine bay would over time make the adhesive release. Hoping to find a similar foam material to replace, but I also think a rubber material would work. Not sure about a felt pad of which there are many.

The rubber type pads that you stick on cabinet doors might work if you can find the right thickness.

Looking on Amazon they have a wide variety of rubber bumpers. Look under automotive parts rubber bumpers for hoods trunks and doors and see if there is something that you can use. Sometimes it's hard to tell the size of things from pictures. Finding something to use that doesen't need glue might be the way to go. A lot of heat in that area of the hood.

You might check other 07 to see if they have that same pad. The reason I mention that is they usually rely on the weather stripping to isolate the hood from the body. Couldn't tell from the picture what the purpose of these pads is.

Just used self-stick felt pads for now, as used on furniture legs. I may need to add another for thickness. Not sure if they are necessary, but with 2 missing it made sense to replace for appearance, if nothing else. The round plastic/rubber disc at top right of photo, 3 of those too, appears to make contact with foam disc when hood is closed.
Thanks again for replies. More questions to come I'm sure.

Quick note. Just saw photo on-line that had the same disc. So could have depended on what hood pad/insulation was used. And being new Corvette guy, I don't know if different ones were used or not. Got a lot to learn.
