Default GM clutch or Aftermarket?

I'm building a 1966 Chevy Nova with a full C6 chassis and drivetrain. I'm going to call it ZO66 since I am modeling it after the ZO6 Corvette. My question is I bought a crate LS7 from Scogin Dickey and it came with the stock GM clutch. Should I run with this clutch or should I go with an after market one. If I go with an aftermarket one I am thinking of going with either a McCleod or Centerforce. Can anyone tell me which of these or any other brand would be best and what model has worked out for them?

I would go with a good aftermarket clutch. I've had good luck with Spec III. They shudder a bit until you get used to it, but it doesn't slip when you get into in and it won't burn.

Data:

Rear tires - 295/35/18 BFG KDW's
Rear Gear - 3.42's
Use - Mostly street, some strip, some Track. 80%/10%/10%
Weight of car - Around 3k

For a better idea of what I'm building:

Had any experience with Centerforce or McCleod? Which of the two is better?

Both are good. I had one bad centerforce once, but I think that was just bad luck.

Since most of the driving will be street are these clutches kind of fussy for this type of driving? I've heard if you slip them they will blow apart!

z06 clutch will be ample for your needs .my opine the after market units arent street friendly.they all need a break in period

You don't think an aftermarket would be too much for the usage ratio I posted above?
