Hi fellow Vette people, Before I dig in and try to fix this I thought I would ask you guys if any body has had a similar issue with a loose drivers side reverse light. I have a 2007 Corvette. The light is connected on the top but is swiviling into the black housing at the bottom. I'm not sure if it's in danger of falling off or not but would like some assistance in correcting it before it becomes a bigger problem. Any suggestions? Thanks, Bob

 

I have the same problem in a 2005 Corvette. In reviewing the backup light it appears the plastic mounting on the light has broken off. To secure the light I drilleda hole and inserted a small screw to prevent the light from moving. The hole is on the right side avoiding the bulb area.

I would guess this has been taken care of. one way or another, it's 12 years old.
