Yes, you can! I have never used mine for DVD's, however.

 

My 2005 will not play DVDs

 

It is against the law (US) to allow a movie to be played in view of the driver. If you look at the Owner's Manual I believe you will see that this is documented. So, no you cannot play a movie in your nav system. Inserting a movie will result in a error that sayssomething like "The inserted disk is not a Nav dvd."

 

its against the law to do anything fun in your car but people do it anyways it would be sweet if u can watch movies like when your on your lunch break and stuff not while driving though they should put so u need the e brake on in order to watch
