I have a 2008 C6 with MRC shocks. The shocks are definitely bad, they are not only leaking but driving the car feels like there is no suspension at all. I have been using Rodger the mechanic at *** Chevrolet in Bradenton for years and have been very happy but I don't want to spend over 4K to replace the MRC struts and shocks. I would like to replace them with Bilsteins, I understand this can be done and the computer reprogrammed to eliminate them for a lot less. *** has never done it and doesn't want to.
So I need to find a shop that can do the work in the Sarasota/Bradenton FL area or the Tampa/Clearwater area would work also.
