Angry Stability control

Recently while driving in the rain I started to pass another vehicle at about 70mph. The c6 took a 45deg turn to the right and I was able to get it back under control. I slowed down to about 55/60 mph and tried again this time the c6 took a 45 deg turn and then did a 180 skidding off the road and into some brush. No one hurt just the paint.

The service anti lock brakes and stability control message came on.

When I went to the dealer he said the yaw sensor was bad but because of the damage they could not fix the vehicle until the factory looked at it and not to drive the vehicle because it was unsafe.

It tookt the factory a week to check it out and of course they said nothing was wrong with the vehicle.

The vehicle is a 2007 coupe with 24,000 miles. The front tires are new and the rears have plenty of tred. They are factory original specs.

Can anyone provide any insight to the possiple problem and resolution?? Thanks
