I just received my 2007 coupe. I have the transparent roof. As the owner of a C4 and C5 I swore I would never buy the transparent roof again after my previous clear tops cracked and splintered. However, I loved the look of the roof on the machine silver with chromed wheels.

Anyway, what is the best way to clean the transparent roof and how can I prevent the clear top from cracking and splintering like the old ones?

I have that on my car. I have the removable top but its not clear. My 90 had the clear one and it never cracked. Put it in a garage and keep it covered. Dont over tighten the bolts. Be gentle with it. I would just wash it with soapy water. NO AMMONIA BASED CLEANERS.
