I have a C6 corvette and love it. However the a/c is blowing air out of all the vents at the same time and it is not adjustable. I found out the mode valve ribbon is broken.

1. Anyone else have this
2. why?
3. Is there an factory tech tips or recalls on this issue.

When you say it is blowing out of "all of the vents at the same time," do you mean all of the dashboard vents? If so, I thought that was normal? The only way to control which vents the air blows out of is to manually close off a vent or two.

Or did I misunderstand your question?
