Drop outs if price is to high

RE: Drop outs if price is to high
Yeah, it's already been hyped up by everyone. But besides that, it really does have a lot of money put into it. Well, a lot of good parts as far as the engine and drivetrain goes. I, no offense, still expect the interior to be very cheaply made. I was actually expecting a 70K price tag on it, but 61-62K would be nice. Ya can't complain too much if they decided to do that. You'd think they'd put it out for like 58-59K...but, I guess we don't be seeing that.

a few of the articles that i have read, the writer mentioned that he "feared GM will make the same mistake with the new Z06 as they did with the ZR-1"
i think that they wont price it as high as the viper, but they consider it to be competition for the viper, so they will price it in the same general price range

Supply and Demand... [sm=teetertooter.gif] If you want the price lowered, lower the demand... GM will price the car accordingly.
And if you just want a car that's gonna get looks buy a Viper, it's not like the Z06 looks any different than a stock vette, unless you count a little badge on the side and the tires... You'd be surprised at how many people don't even know there's a difference...

In the past I have had a 91 ZR1, a 2001 Z06, and a 2004 standard coupe. I also had a 2000 Viper. I presently (just bought) a 87 C4 convertible. I did not like the Viper at all. I too was waiting for the new Z06, but, wanting to avoid first year problems, I bought a 2005 Lexus SC 430. Awesome driver, but a little underpowered.
I have heard from a local dealer the new Z06 will MSRP around $70,000+, not counting dealer mark-up. I'm sure the Z06 will be almost as awesome as the 2001 996 twin turbo I recently sold.
I'm not bragging but I have had many very fast cars in my lifetime. The Porsche turbo is the finest car I have ever owned, period! But if you can but a new Z06 for 70-72 you are getting the best bang for the buck in the automotive industry. A new Porsche turbo will cost you upward of $134,000 for the coupe. $154,000 for a Cab.
Hey, its only money!!
