LT2 LT3 Exhaust

LT2 LT3 Exhaust
Hi folks. I'm new to the forum and will be buying my first Corvette within the next 30 days. I plan to get C7 but can't seem grasp the all the differences between the LT2 and LT3. More specifically, the exhaust. Is the exhaust on the LT2 the same as the LT3? I've seen phrases like "performance exhaust" and others that mention you can change the exhaust type with a click on the fob. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.
In a cursory review of the 2019 C7 sales brochure, it appears that the main difference between the 2LT and the 3LT is the seats and the available interior accouterments such as type of leather and carbon flash details. The performance exhaust option NPP is available on the Stingray and standard on the Grand Sport, Z06, and ZR1. It is driver-selectable but I'm not sure how it's done.
Try searching the internet for Corvette sales brochures and see what you come up with. You can also get a copy from the National Corvette Museum for certain years and perhaps from other aftermarket Corvette suppliers. Another good source of information is the Corvette Magazine. You can purchase back copies of the magazine. They also do reviews of each generation and their sales price plus any problems they may have encountered during that generation.
Good luck on your search for a C7.
