Trouble starting
Hello, I've got a 1988 Corvette with 40,000 miles on it. Once in awhile it starts fine but usually takes a bit cranking to start and cannot find the issue. Weather it be cold start or hot start. I've replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, alternator, battery, spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap&rotor, pressure regulator valve, fuel relay, 02 sensor. It chokes a little when starting but once it starts it runs okay, getting on it a little it loses power and than picks up a second or two later. I've read online taking the vacuum line off the pressure regulator valve and smelling for fuel so I replaced that and it still smells like fuel. Idles around 600-700 rpm. If anyone has solutions please shoot away.
