1990 ZR1 wiring issue
Hello Corvette peeps,
Does anyone know where the dark blue wire (from the ac pressure switch goes?) it goes into the wiring loom and I can't trace it without taking the engine apart..
my issue is the ac trips and blows the ac fuse every time I turn on the Ac and put into auto. Please help!
Thanks

Welcome to the forum. Unless somebody pops in here, your best bet is to get a factory service manual with the wiring diagram in it.
Can you turn the A/C on without going into the auto mode? If so, does it still blow the fuse? I'm thinking maybe there is a sensor shorted.

Not sure if the ZR1 is different than the Base wiring but according to my schematic, I show a dark blue wire with 12v when the car is on, going to the coil of the coolant fan relay, the relay turned on from the ECM with a dark green and white wire. The contacts of the relay are black and red to the coolant fan motor with the supply voltage coming from a red fusible link wire, which shows as hot all the time. Bad relay possibly? Or ECM issue (ouch!).
